🏁SimRacing Republic SportsCar Championship 2025/2026🏁

With the dust barely settled from the thrilling Prologue season, SimRacing Republic is proud to announce the full launch of the SportsCar Championship 2025/2026. Designed from the ground up to deliver a truly premium endurance racing experience, the series builds on everything learned over the past year and pushes the format to the next level.
Whether you are a returning competitor or a new team looking to make your mark, the upcoming season offers a refined structure, an exceptional calendar, and the kind of multi-class racing that demands precision, teamwork, and unwavering focus.
A Format Built for Racing
The SportsCar Championship will once again embrace the spirit of multi-class endurance racing, featuring four distinct categories:
- LMP2
- LMP3
- GT3 PRO
- GT3 AM
Each class brings its own dynamics to the grid, with faster prototypes navigating the field alongside high-level GT competition. This layered structure is at the heart of what makes endurance racing so captivating: managing traffic, strategy, and consistency over the course of 4-hour-long races.
Unlike the sprint formats commonly seen in sim racing, this series focuses on long-distance execution, racecraft under pressure, and strategic depth. Teams will need more than raw speed to succeed here.
The 2025/2026 Calendar
Carefully selected to reflect variety, technical challenge, and racing heritage, the calendar consists of six 4-hour races at iconic European circuits:
- Round 1 – Portimão – September 27, 2025
- Round 2 – Barcelona – October 25, 2025
- Round 3 – Magny-Cours – November 15, 2025
- Round 4 – Misano – January 10, 2026
- Round 5 – Jerez – February 7, 2026
- Round 6 – Spa-Francorchamps – March 7, 2026
Each venue presents its own test of driver skill and team coordination, from the elevation changes in Portimão to the high-speed demands of Spa. All races are 4-hour team events and will be broadcast live by GSRC, with live stewarding and full race control.
Registration & Pre-Qualifying
Registration for the championship officially opens on August 1, 2025. Teams are encouraged to register early, as interest is expected to exceed available grid slots. Should entries surpass capacity, a Pre-Qualifying phase will take place in mid-September 2025 to determine the final grid.
Further details on the schedule, start times, and registration process will be shared closer to the opening date. A slight adjustment in race day timing is also being implemented, based on feedback from the Prologue.
Fairness, Structure, and Growth
One of the key goals for the 2025/2026 season is a clear, fair, and consistent rule set. Based on community feedback and observations during the Prologue, the regulations have been refined and loopholes addressed. Live stewarding will ensure that racing remains respectful and competitive, while ongoing dialogue with teams will continue to shape the league.
Collaboration remains a cornerstone of our philosophy. In 2025/2026, we are proud to continue working with TFRLAB for GT3 class Balance of Performance and GSRC for professional race broadcasts.
We are also introducing structured support for new teams and privateers, ensuring that talent and preparation are always rewarded – regardless of team size.
